I wanted to follow up with my 2nd training document on blogging. We have had great success and based on a 4-series training series of which this is part 2 we have increased our traffic by 433% in 30 days. (if anyone wants all 4 parts early email me)
Here are a couple great articles posted recently. Buy-Tees.net and Design You Trust
Also our Design Fix, fashion blog, Erin’s Rack, and Branding is the Details blogs are playing a big part in this
I believe this is the best and most personal marketing a company can do to build their brand.

Blogging Etiquette
1. Content
a. Always give credit to the source
b. Link back to the source using their name and blog name if possible.
2. Pictures
a. First check the source and see if you can find similar but different pictures
b. You can always google the topic and find more pictures or videos on the topic. This depends on what you are writing about
3. Video
a. You Tube and other video services is fair game. If it is on there it is public domain. So if one person uses a video, you can use it. Just go to the source and copy the code
4. Issues
a. If anyone asks you to take down the material b/c of copyright or other issues, usually do this and swap it out. Especially if it is an older post since it doesn’t matter as much. This prevents any legal problems as long as you are reasonably quick.
Next Steps
1. Get 2 blog posts up by Friday.
2. Get your about section written and picture(s) added
3. Add 5-7 of your favorite links
4. Add you custom header if applicable
